That line is not in this cartoon... this cartoon, Bugs is praying for good reason... he's being chased by a monster.
His prayers are gibberish' but it's funny all the same.
It makes me think of the quote: If you only pray when you are in trouble, you are in trouble. Lol.
Saturday morning fun.. I've decided to paint a few of my favourite cartoon moments for my studio, simply because seeing these images brings warm fuzzy feelings. I change it up a bit... this painting will actually be 2 paintings in one. Paining is pleasure but these paintings are also comforting. You'd think after seeing these cartoons countless times, I'd be bored but I'm not - each time I'm inspired. Each viewing I notice something else, background colours, character positions, sarcastic remarks, items relating to the time period the cartoons were created, they are an endless source of entertainment. Everyday is Saturday, everyday I can choose - will I become absorbed in news, suck in the drama of the day, or put it aside watch Bugs & say some prayers... works for me.
Sometimes my prayers are visions', I repeat them over & over because they make me smile, relax and bring joy.
I've decided that's what I am going to continue to do because I also understand how powerful it is, just like when I found this place - I imagined things... what I wanted, and here I am. You all have heard of 'The Secret' , I guess it's like that- but no secret. It's called faith. Faith and prayer changes things.
I have faith - this snowstorm I'm watching as I paint, won't stick around. lol
I have faith God knows what's in my heart, she put it there.. the seed(s).
People ask WWJD? I sometimes ask WWBD? Hee hee hee
Bugs would continue to be the lovable, charismatic, entertaining, relentless bunny he is .. and yes, at times when Bugs has had enough, of course you know: This means WAR.
Who wins the war? BUGS - every time. Holy, I'm grateful for the role model Bugs Bunny has been & continues to be.
Bugs has taught me to be resilient & persistent.
