Well sleep still isn't on the agenda.. lol Naps yes - puppy naps. As anticipated Poppy & the pup bond more every hour, they are starting to play regular and it makes me laugh! Dogs help keep you in the NOW if you let them. I find I just stare - amazed -the puppy is incredibly clumsy and DETERMINED.. I feel her name has yet to show itself. Poppy & it have actually shared a basket!! Poppy plays but at times she lets it know - I'm done playing!, this is awesome because pop helps tire out the baby & is getting exercise,
Stairs are an adventure - you will see the determination with each one - and cameras now have 'slow motion'- cuteness in slow motion!! Good thing most of my photos are a blur, a glimpse of a tail or paw, It is already pad trained, little dogs get lost int he 5 feet of snow so it=s a good way to go.
I looked and pondered for over a year about another dog, I am very glad we got her, she's been an lovely distraction as well. Much needed this weekend as it turned out... Norm & I had a battle on the weekend- to make a long story short - my dad was the number 1 fleet salesman for ford for years & I too worked in the car business a few years... Norm went to buy a truck - every time I asked: what's going on with the truck- my gut said 'NOPE' this is not right.. a week later*still with no 'final price' AFTER I explicitly saying DO NOT buy the truck UNTIL you talk to me and tell me the final price - as it just kept going UP. Norm put down a deposit- I was NOT impressed... to say the least. I lost it early Saturday morning! (my apologies neighbours- I wish I could control myself - but the only way it seems for 'NORM to get it' is for me to lose it.) WELL - he knew I meant business and when he called for the deposit back the sales man sang a different tune NOWhe suddenly had time for him, was ear to sell the truck... Norm found out the salesman was lying, turns out he vehicle -(which sounded too good to be true) had been stolen, and oh it was in an accident (probably a write off)- not information that was volunteered, turns out he was told to pay for 2 warranties and then found out Ford would not cover either warranty - the GUY was a POS salesman & I knew it.
He got the money back and was relieved we didn't spend $40,00 of a piece of crap.
DID he say "Geeze George thanks for making me aware and saving us $40,000 for a piece of crap" No.. I had been proven right AGAIN and we had a huge BLOW out that ALL COULD have been avoided had he OLNY listened to me! I tell you I'm so tired of his stubborn especially when it could cost us.
MY dad taught me a thing or two about car sales -
ONE if you're looking a vehicle and immediately a sales man says "I have another buyer interested also.." ignore it, he's full of shit. The seed is planted to instil fear- 'YOU better make up your mind fast..." & then to create a price war.
TWO - get the VIN number and DO your own research on line before you buy- isn't it worth it for 40,000???
Three: ASK- THEY must tell YOU- Has this vehicle been in an accident?
& my dad said - if so- move on - IF the alternator has been cracked your F&(*ed and it could be days, weeks, months and your vehicle will break down and be useless - probably before you've paid it off, of course.
DO NOT tell them you NEED it for work.. then they think YOU are desperate.
He also said If you're going to spend your money on a vehicle and they don't show you respect- Norm waited one day at the dealership and hour and a 1/2 and the ass was 'too busy to even acknowledge him' - MOVE the fuck on- why would you pay people who show you NO respect any money- image if the vehicle has problems- the guy already treats you like shit- do you think it would get better?
Anyhow the business and the man have been reported as they should and thank GOD we didn't get that truck- if it sounds too good to be true- IT probably is and I thought it was ILLEGAL to advertise the wrong price- It was already $10,000 more & rising than the listed price. Did NORM say sorry to me? Eventually, because I made him.
Ask me if I care - I just saved US $40,000.
I do think he's grateful - now.
Were still searching for a 'gently used PU - white - if you know of one send me a message.
Thank God for puppies & tiki creating - I painted through it - I told my girlfriend - who freaked over my TIKI - "My TIKI are my ticket". My ticket out... YES, I guess you could say that - out of bullshit, out of misery, out of my mind and problems, painting them - I can't help buy smile, so colourful & expressive - I even laugh when everyone is complete. Soon you'll see what I'm talking about - not until next month probably, then I'm having a Tiki booth at an outdoor sale.
PLEASE be an educated consumer - especially on a used vehicle, I think car/truck sales men should be charged for potentially causing bodily harm/attempted murder when they intentionally lie about faulty vehicles, because that's exactly how it might end up.
NOW - have a look at my baby & feel better about this day - I DO!
