Joy to the world
This sky coloured canvas was painted a week ago, then there it sat waiting.. evidently, for Kermit. I finally picked it up and started sketching at 6:30 a.m., by 3:36 in the afternoon I was finished. What a wonderful way to spend a day, pondering with Kermit the frog. I tried to keep the overall look of the painting ‘fun’, considering the message.

I debated on painting a ‘thought bubble’ behind Kermits head - if so, it was simply going to say: Jesus.
I can always add it in later should I decide to elaborate.
The internet was out for 2 days, no social media distractions, no Netflix to pass some time… just me & my brushes and the snow, which looks deceiving glistening in the sunshine - it tempted us out several times only to be running back in, when our fingers & paws start to get painful from the cold. The dogs are content hanging out by the fire. It turns out the internet was out because the dish was covered in snow.. only in Canada Eh.
