Beautiful bold, Christmas flowers! The Poinsettia' is lovely to look at but it's bad for my pets.. so I don't get them anymore. I have a kitty who eats plants, currently my home grown Stevia >^..^< Clearly, my kitty has a sweet tooth.

Last night I turned my iPad on before bed (I rarely do this, once I'm in bed and snuggled up with Poppy we are too tired to iPad) but last night I read the headlines that show up on the first screen, proceeded to click the link: Polar Bear. Being new it loaded up quickly, before I had time to 'give it a second thought...
... that bear walking, my eyes well up literally and I forget to tell those who own my work - IF gouache gets wet it can disappear, it blends and this is making for a difficult painting day.
& I'm working on an ornament for my tree called:
Remember the Missing this Christmas.
WHY CAN'T WE do something!? Why can't we take out f*cking garbage FOOD that we throw out every day and fly it up there?! & YOU know who should pay? **HUNTERS*** BIG &^%$#@! SELFISH game hunters!
You want to KILL then first YOU CONSERVE.
at first I was going s to say .. don't watch it- WATCH IT.
Show your kids... then decide speak up or shut up?
IF SPEAK up, you don't have to get "editorial" but PLEASE show where you stand.
Bake a polar bear cake, knit a polar bear hat, make a polar bear cookie to create awareness.
We protect what we love it should be the real beings not the furs on furniture.
BIG game hunters... change is coming please think about your actions for your own children, this is not going to be remembered fondly in the future.
The hunters who destroy it (when so many of us do not want it destroyed)
will become the next hunted. A movie somewhere is probably being made about it now.

Tis the season and things get tricky - triggers' for me. Consumerism... Debt - Canada is at a all time high and not in the cannabis way. Pressure, family stress.. ho ho ho. I'm not alone.
The best gift we can give ourselves is a break. Not give up.. break..
Have you watched Dark" on Netflix?
I highly recommend. We all watched the entire thing a few nights ago.
I can't get it out of my mind.. it is thought provoking and the end will have you sit back and just need to absorb al that just happened. We almost turned it off because the 'dubbing had Storm & I giggling' at first.. don't turn it off.
WE ARE ALL RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS suffering.
Now to paint and think about the polar bear.. my way of ? Speaking up.
