Pink Moon Pirate! Gouache on black.. 8 x 8 . Did you see last nights Pink Moon? I did and you could definitely see a ring of pink around the moon, I know because I forgot it was the "pink moon" and when I got up to look for the cat, who escaped outside at bed time.. I was taken back by the bright pink circle! Stunning. Luckily, the cat came back at 4 a.m., cold and happy to be in my arms purring an early good morning! I realize posting this here - lol - I forgot to paint a few leaves at the bottom. I'll do it today.
I'll forgive myself as yesterday I had a tooth ache & I was grumpy, tired and sore... a loose tooth (bottom) that's been a problem for a while, I do not like dentist visits for numerous reasons and never have. It's a fear sort of, especially with TN, sometimes a tooth being pulled can intensify the TN sensation and that terrifies me as it's brutal enough, thanks. Also to have a (loose) tooth pulled is a couple of hundred dollars. Dentistry in Canada is expensive and the government SHOULD pay for it - We pay ENOUGH TAXES (more every day). This new tax on cottages (vacation homes) is insane. So Trudea can turn around and GIVE it away... not to Canadians to solve the homeless situation or ever growing poverty in Canada. Not just subsidies, but pay for it in full. Mouth health affects all health.
Anyhow - I pull out my own teeth, wiggle until it's got to come out. My dentist asked: Doesn't it hurt? lol. YES.
Life is not meant to be lived 'pain free.
Yesterday, I couldn't take it any longer, the pain was getting to me and I couldn't even think straight or eat without the fear of biting down and sending shockwaves of pain through my body, simply for enjoying a slice of pizza. I tied some hemp wick (strongest stuff I could find) around the tooth and asked Storm to 'yank it out!' Then I took something for pain, sat for 30 minutes and told Storm "how to hold the rope.. an do it on the count of thr..." and he yanked! OMGoodness, a second of shock, looking at him, seeing the tooth dangle from the string and we both burst our laughing, then I ran to spit out the blood. Tooth out! Saved some money and today I feel fantastic! Better than I have in weeks. lol Thank you Storm. I'm upset we did not record it as it was pretty humorous.. 'Next time' he assures me. lol. My jaw was very tender but it subsided, I'm glad it's out, you can see the infection in the tooth (below if you want to see), maybe not so don't scroll.
The root fully in tact as well!
One less tooth -feeling lighter (lol) and happier - smiling with my toothless grin, love me or leave - I care not.
I hate the feeling of dentures as I have for my one tooth, I wonder how good it is for us to have an unnatural substance inout mouth all the time, I don't think it's good for us. I might never get dentures, not for my missing bottom tooth, truly - if someone judges anyone due to something as simple as a missing tooth - it speaks volumes about that person judging.
I'm excited for a sunshine filled adventure- still no bugs ! yay!
Enjoy this day that the Lord has made!
