Peep on Peyote acrylic on wood. 7.5"
There are some fascinating documentaries about Peyote medicine & how many associate it with "seeing God, medicine"
I've not tried & have no desire; I see God in every leaf & am grateful. I believe it is another medicine that helps many & has for centuries. Research it. The more we are educated the better off we will be. More people died of opiates the past couple of years than almost the same amount of people with covid in Ontario. Should natural medicine be available - medicines that do not kill, more might be helped. Better to see God in isolation that death, due to opiates.
How many people have died because of the 'war on drugs'? Too many & the numbers are still climbing.
The mushrooms are out in full force, if you can venture into the woods - I'm sure you'll find a few. I like "witches butter" because it's so vibrant! Apparently it is also edible, but I don't find it appealing in that way. Still, it's good to know if you are ever lost in a forest that it is safe to eat. I know a few now simple learning Abu them over the years... it is advised to always cook mushrooms instead of eating them raw. Happy Foraging!
Next Winnie the Pooh & golden honey mushrooms (imagined).

A fellow artist, cartoonist sent me a hand created card! Inspired from Hocus Pocus (the movie), the 2nd movie is out soon & yes, I am looking forward to seeing it. I enjoy the creativity without all the gore. The note thanked me for being an inspiration of the years & encouraging her to focus other art, it's difficult for me not to encourage, when I see other talented beings - as we are ALL created to create.
