You know what's good for your art? A pandemic.
I have lots of time but many people don't - well, NOW everone has time to focus on their art- or whatever they want to focus on, well most do. Many still are working and I'm grateful to them. I'm grateful for cannbis growers like My son, who I miss -too much - but Storm understands better than most: people still need their Medicine & medicine it is.
I've not seen my son since Christmas ;( .. it makes me very sad in all this. Helpless and NOW - I know Im not seeing him until may mabye June - (can't think about it or I'm crying) like others with bud running low, oh well. I'd like to encourage all to give their bodies a break- especially their lungs, ESPECIALLY if you smoke cigarettes too.
PLEASE STOP.
Not having enough bud' is not something I'm not going to stress over- not when so many are stressing over far worse. Deaths #s are now starting to be documented all over, the global pain level is staggering .. so much saddness.
I'm going to focus on being happy to just BE. Happy to be in my home - painting.
Norms out sawing down dead trees - we have many... chopping wood, stacking wood, wood chipping, log moving. lol We, for once are in a better situation than we have been, by the grace of God. I don't even realize at times there is a pandemic until I turn on my phone & read news. Not on a beautiful sunshine filled day like today! Tomorrow will be 15! YEEHAW - Im planting seed for a garden & going to LEARD how to preserve what I grow - after THIS- to 'not grow' would be STUPID. Medicine & food. Amen
Fucking TRUMP!! Is everyone paying attention to how the UNITED STATES treats the rest of the world!? Keeping our masks? Masks that were to be shipped to Canada by 3M, I for one (& I know I'm not alone) won't buy ANY product by 3M or made in the USA ever. Once this all over, people WILL remember all who are trying to help and those who hurt- with your words & actions.
******I've decided I want to make a donation to the food bank - a good one.
As many are aware I don't often sell my art.. I looked at it all today & decided I can sell some and give the money to the food bank. That simple. SO...IF there is anything you see and would like to own please let me know.
Please remember, I'll still be paying postage and shipping - I'm not 'giving it away' try to be generous.
I do challenge all artists to donate a painting- put it out today for auction or so sale and donate your money to the local food bank or a neighbour that might be struggling.. we know who they are in most cases. If you can't donate $ - have good thoughts for everyone! There's already way too much sadness on the planet - people who have lost loved ones all around the world. Let's BE & BE better - by helping others.

Time to create- I'm painting Jesus to match my Mary for Easter!
*funny not funny - I made a spelling mistake in my Mary painting! Arrrrrgh. I can't believe it, I did not see it and spent -how long on that panting? lol
Of course, my mother noticed it and I was informed. lol Fuck!
It just goes to show you how intense I become when painting. I obviously know how to spell this word... I was caught up in the passion - all that matters.
I don't think anyone else noticed - it's amusing -now. I'll fix it when panting jesus with the same colors.
God keeping me humble. It worked.
I painted this painting for a girlfriend Corrina in Germany, I could not stop thinking about her.. I found out (after I painted her dogs) she was not well & in the hospital & then was worried she had the virus - she was tested and it came back negative - Thank God.
Thinking of all my friends around the world. Please stay safe.
