One more sleep & cannabis will be legal to smoke recreationally in Canada... I can hardly believe it myself. I'm almost in a trance - I have 3 projects on my desk- all in celebration!
The last 'combination of leaves' I LOVED - so much I re-painted it yesterday. It is the perfect symbol of my two loves Cannabis & Canada & it 'Pops off the paper' with it's bright colors & shows how I FEEL! Excited! It's the perfect logo imo ;) I'm thinking it would make a cool T' !!

I'll admit I'm thinking about my American friends and how they will feel tomorrow- I imagine .. not that pleased. Americans who consume cannabis and are in business KNOW that Canada definitely has gotten the upper hand when it comes to cannabis & legalization.
Tomorrow Cannabis will be bought & enjoyed starting in Newfoundland ending in B.C. We have 6 times zones in Canada- hee hee - is that 6 times we celebrate 4:20? - I bet he Newfies do (I love Newfies). America has changed their mind about letting Business people in the industry 'cross borders' - after saying only weeks ago - it was going to be a 'No No. & soon they will change their mind about legalization - I hope... a little tricky for them as they have PUT so many behind bars for cannabis... & it is absolutely used to keep the minorities down and locked up.
Canada is leading by example - in all ways. We are not going to go crazy, we are not going to turn into lazy pot heads, we will not have an insane amount of car accidents.. our kids won't all turn into 'Psycho's' -instead they will have the knowledge & choice toby safe, reliable medicine and experiencing cannabis in a educated & enjoyable way will become the new norm - we will celebrate freedom of choice first.
Shift happens- I feel this is a monumental shift for Canadians and the world!

Me not so much, my studio won't be ready, I will still smoke a few joints and smile- but technically - I've been legal for years - so I'm happy for everyone else, NOW. I'm still painting of course, my friend CrustyRusty wants to smoke a Peace pipe - under the Peace bridge! I think it's a great idea! If not so far, I'd consider joining him... instead I'll be at home, peacefully painting while I smoke my bong, joints and eat medicated carrot cake! Nom Nom. One MORE sleep.
