The coop is coming along nicely! Will it be ready for my ladies this weekend? Here hoping! The fence is a bit of an ordeal... do it right - we don't want any chickens escaping. Above my newest painting for beside the chicken entrance/exit... hee hee. No rotten eggs here!
This canvas once sketched, flew off the easel and ended up with a hole in it. I simply placed masking take over the back and painted away.. you can't notice from the front. it was more of a lesson for me & painting repair. I was pleased with the final results. I did not put much effort into the painting due to the tear. This little chipper sits here all the time and he makes me smile - it will become art for the coop & finally...

Read this article in Macleans. Remember I am a cat lover, I've always had at least 2 cats for as long as I remember - NO MORE. I am a bird admirer NOW.. and they are declining for too many reasons, NOT just cats - but cats are the worst for the bird population, humans 2nd. I'm painting a few kitties all with the same message, want to win one of the originals - follow my IG and I'll share how.
