Terribly sad, the young firefighter who lost her life recently, battling Canadas forest fires... only 19 years old.
Super frustrating to hear Trudeau - sending & spending money here & there .. when he should be buying water bomber planes and or using resources **taxes from Canadians - for Canadians*** to put out the fires destroying nature & homes, right here, in Canada. I'm sure what he spends alone of his many vacations would make a huge impact to firefighters, risking their lives. At one time I believe he cared about Canada, not the case lately, he appears to care all about politics'. Grateful for the lesson, even the exposed blatant lies. I'm sure Canadians are ready for a change.
It's difficult not to think of the fires living in the woods... I'm not fearful of them but I do understand the damage they are doing. Just go for a walk in the woods & witness Gods creations from insects, frogs, lizards, butterfly, bugs of all sorts. Rabbits, owls, porcupine, mink, beaver, bear, raccoons, moose & mice.. & more. Pine, maple, cedar, oak, birch now turned into giant match sticks. Many creatures will perish or become homeless, and let's not forget humans - displaced in their own county.
It does have me asking (again) where are our priorities - or rather Trudeaus priorities? I'm not the only one wondering, I watched at a recent public event he was being 'boo'd' by the crowd so loud you could not hear a word he was saying - good, because it all seems to be bullshit lately. It's rained quite a bit here but it still has me considering the future of Canada & the world record breaking heatwave.., if this is the way of the future, shouldn't we be investing in prevention for such future fires? Isn't that common sense?
Time to explore the woods & give thanks for every pine needle, frog & fern... appreciated even more today than yesterday.
