Mushroom masks
Ancient ART & wisdom teaches us Mushrooms have been consumed specifically for spiritual & healing reasons. NOW, mushrooms are bing researched (finally) and used for the same reasons - and to get high. Getting HIGH - is not the intention people should have, imo.
Age, experience, time.. cannabis & mushrooms have shown me: I like to paint to ‘get HIGH’.
Our new home is teaching lessons every day. Patience.
patience at 5 a.m. and 15 degrees - -the fire will get lit.. be patient you will be warm soon…
I think of the homeless & give thanks I have a fire to start in my tiny house in the woods.
I love it- waking up and knowing I have a task - heat the house - I am the keeper of the flame’ lol
The dogs look at me with such appreciation as the flames roar & they all sit around the fireplace- still dark. My first fire & first SUCCESSFUL task for the day is complete.
Writing a friend (snail mail pals) I mentioned I don’t have cable, news & don’t spend much time on line these days… what am I missing? Depression. :) Actually, NOT missing it - at all.
Chores, painting, cleaning - life & too little time to focus on all that’s going wrong in the world - like protests, pig presidents, shootings, fires… frig.
2020 ‘perfect vision’ - I will focus & SEE all that is Good currently - thank God.
& there is MUCH to see.
MORE art lessons! Today a quick lesson in making mistakes.
When you make one, Don’t throw it all away - mistakes are made - FIX it.
I dropped my brush with white paint on it - YIKES!
With Gouache paint - you can clean up easily. Do NOT rub the mistake OFF.
Take a CLEAN brush- dip it in CLEAN water - wet the mistake &
then dab your brush on tissue & repeat.
You will lift most of it - if not all of it, off.
Patience.
WHITE paint on a BLACK background was the perfect example.
I turned a mistake into a lesson! Woo Hoo- I hope I do it with every mistake in 2020
