Mushroom Foray season! Storms going on a foray soon & there's usually a few families that bring children. Mushrooms are collected in brown paper bags so I had a few laying around & thought I'd create some simple drawings that kids could colour & use to collect their specimens. It only took a few moments, no pre sketching just a few fast doodles.
My current Domestika course is all about doodling, I'm not a 'beginner so it's very easy but all the same - inspiring, I started a doodle journal that I'll share soon - a brain workout, fun way to warm up the hand & mind & great habit for every aspiring artist to get into. This instructors (Mattias Adolfsson) doodles are detailed, his art reminds me of 'Where's Waldo' & he makes it look very easy & encourages a simple, creative approach. His images would be fun to colour! He's actually inspired me to create a colouring Foray page, Storm can also bring to the foray for tiny humans to have some creative fun & possibly even learn a thing or two.
