Monkey bud business with metallic paint... see how you can only see some of the paint glitter in a certain light? The deep glitter brown is nicer than I anticipated, it was a free gift for ordering from https://lisilinka.com. it's a colour I would 'not' have purchased, it's forced me out of my black/blue monkey comfort zone.
I think about those still in the business and several who got out... for many, I think it went from a passion to a job in a heart beat, add the insane government regulations & rules and it became a headache, toss in covid and it became a nightmare. I was naive about cannabis legalization... I thought it would help lower opiate deaths/use & lessen domestic violence, hoping people would switch from alcohol & pills to the safer legal alternative, cannabis. It did not, covid added stress, obligations, confusion and took away resources, protection and human rights - adding also depression on a massive scale. Some just used both or all. Confirmation again... it's not the substance but the human who chooses the direction they go... even if that direction is by way of a downward spiral. I'm not judging anyone for it as we never know why other do what they do... I was hopeful though. I still am, I know how cannabis works and the countless humans it has helped. WE all are more aware. Canada did 'not go to pot' when Pot was legalized, if anything I'm sure the government has raked in millions -if not a billion by now. Enough with the failed attempt at demonizing this plant! Are they going to be available in garden centres this spring? Tiny plants to watch grow to eat & smoke or juice -I know a few who do.
Long ago - over 15 years they were saying cannabis cures cancer- and many believe it... I myself thought that' was a very bold statement - low and behold another article just came out... cannabis may help treat cancer - YES! I know!
I know from the kids that I was following a decade ago, the babies that were using it - but the government made them stop and the cancer came back and the babies died.. F*ck Cancer & those that LIED. I have friends STILL dealing with incarceration - a friend in Belgium tells me they can be arrested for just having grow equipment in their possession. Friends in the USA who still have a constant struggle with legal cannabis - trying to do it by the book and being stonewalled at every occasion while watching the illegal industry continue to thrive. If anything we have learned: legal lies & distractions from those in 'power' are still prevailing -but not for long. No wonder Trudeau doesn't want Canadians reading all the news, seeing all the protests (many -not as peaceful as the Canadian one that had the Emergency act activated & threatened Canadians livelihood & rights.
Don't be a silly monkey, Don't believe or follow the old adage "Monkey See- Monkey Do... " Think for yourself.
Be a curious chimp - explore the possibilities. I do find there is less stigma & judgement in Canada re cannabis- is that from education? Probably not. It probably more about the fact many have more to stress over like groceries, health care concerns, exorbitant rent, childcare costs... it's probably because more people understand -getting high' wanting to feel less stress or good even, is NOT a crime.
Crimes are being committed, we've just been a little confused as to who' the actual criminals are.
I'm enjoying exploring metallic paint, grateful for every creation - dedicated to my creator, here to educate from life experience that God provided. It is easier to judge than to know.
