I can see a few reasons a mermaid might want to venture on land.
Seaweeds just not doing it for her any longer until she sees weed.
I actually learned while painting the mermaid of the BlueLotus flower/drug.
Would I try "blue lotus" wine? Yes.

Although I enjoy painting mermaids.. I don't think I'll keep this piece - I'll make her a gift to someone.
It's the weekend and I've much on my mind! Time to buckle down & get some of my current projects close to completion so I can start a few NEW! Every time I speak to someone they want to work on projects together, lately - the universe is opening so many doors I feel like Alice! Time to put some of these ideas to paper!
