Mental health is much more common than many want to admit. Perhaps theI thought, a different Monkey (other than a chimpanzee) would be easy. It was not.
lol. This playful primate loves the leaf. All of them & the forest where they all belong.
Trees are home to them & us.
It poured all weekend, to the point it filled the dog (kid) pool & we loved it.
It's very relaxing listening & watching rain on a metal roof.
No blue green and the forest was dry, today we couldn't wander 5 feet without seeing magnificent mushrooms! Get out & explore.
*Apple TV has a series with Oprah & Prince Harry.. it's long overdue.
Depression is an epidemic and is only getting worse with denial & covid. PTSD is real & all areas are addressed, stories, science and possibilities. It's also inspiring.
It's informative on many levels. They keep mentioning 'loneliness' brought on by Covid. I've discovered, I am quite comfortable with all the alone time' & not feeling lonely, at all.
I know the dogs contribute to me never feeling alone mostly as they follow me everywhere. Everywhere I go, I am surrounded by unconditional love & playfulness - Joy.
I attribute it to cartooning and trying to create a strip'... it's takes a lot of alone time & thinking & it's fun. I also watched the Charlie Brown documentary on appleTV. It was well done. Many serious painters/artists must also feel this.. I spend much more time infront of the canvas than the T.V.. Charles Schultz was like all of us - complicated. For a better understanding of him, there's a great book, autobiography - I think it's called Charles Schultz.
*David & Goliath By Malcolm Gladwell was a interesting read. I'm still thinking about our
'3 strike' courts system.. It also changed my opinion on class sizes. It provided for me a few (especially in Ontario) 'Ahhaaa', moments. I think I'll read his other books.
Keeping active mentally by reading..
