Masha Amani do you know who she is? Masha was 22 when she was arrested in Iran by the "Ethics Police" because her hair could be seen even though she was wearing a head cover... she was brutally beaten & died - because her hair was showing. In Iran they are even using facial recognition (especially) on women and can go to their homes if they have been out, exposing their hair. Did you get that? Women in the USA are struggling with not being in control of their body choices regarding abortions & this beautiful woman was murdered because her hair was exposed. HAIR. In Canada women can expose their breasts if they so choose in public - but we don't why... because men can't control themselves. Because the majority of wen see a topless woman and associate her with being a 'slut' Am I wrong? I have had many of my own experiences of being judged when turner simply because of my attire- & still am! Now when women get older we still get: You're too old to dress like that. Women can't win. YES we can. BUT - we have to support each other. Even though here in Canada where we do show our hair and breasts (at times) we have to bring attention to this situation - although on the other side of the world - because it does effect us. Now some might say "That's in Iran, it has nothing to do with us..." If you are a woman- it has everything to do with US. This could happen anywhere. I just finished reading 1984 & shake my head in disbelief... in 2022, not fiction.
We are ONE. We are all connected and to have this nightmare happen anywhere - happens to all of us.
Indigenous women are being murdered an go missing here in Canada & the USA STILL, at alarming rates... this is 2022. This is not o.k. Do you have a daughter - mother? It's not o.k. to be murdered because our hair is seen.
It's not o.k. to be raped because of 'how she was dressed'. I watched videos where strange men in Iran have no issues walking up to women they do not know and berating them in public (men they do not know), verbally an even physically simply over the fact they are not covering their hair. It has nothing to do with hair & everything to do with CONTROL. Remember this the next time you style your hair to go out, thank God we don't have to live in fear of being murdered for this reason. When these issues are used in 'Gods name, is even worse.
God wold never approve of murdering someone because their hair is seen.
It's unfathomable that this is happening anywhere... this is 2022, the reality for women is - issues like this ARE happening everywhere. Unless we speak up - around the world and let others know: this is not acceptable -it will be. It's that simple. Ethics Police beat women to death over her hair being seen... what an Oxymoron. God gave us freewill, choice. For some reason, women don't seem to have the same choices as men, like what we wear, equal pay, what we do with our own bodies (hair), lives, children. Everything for a reason, as terrible as it is- I hope Masha has opened eyes and hearts of women & men around the world and will force change', just as she was forced into submission & death.
As for sin - the only sin was by the Ethics Police and those who encourage them.
God will judge them accordingly.
