Love & Light. 9 x 12 gouache on watercolour
A friend shared this painting made her feel all tingly inside... good. It was a friend who lost a child a few years back, it warmed my heart knowing it made her feel good. I felt the same painting it. I feel surrounded by love most days, especially painting.
I am in awe of how light shines through the forest, as if God is peeking through the trees, whispering... this way.
All paths lead to Him.
Experimenting with gouache while acrylic waits, I imagine more when using gouache, acrylic is more restrictive (for me anyway), you go with what feels good. Occasionally, I consider painting gnomes or fairies in the forest but that's not the direction I go, I'd prefer to paint creatures like bears, birds & bugs or simply play with the light.

Learn something new. I'm trying a new recipe for sour cream coffee cake I found on PIN - because - cake. lol. Walnuts & cinnamon - how can you go wrong?
Everyday you are gifted with opening your eyes - is a day to rejoice, craft, bake, inspire, paint.. what ever brings you peace & joy - do that! Coffee cake! I'll let you know how it turns out & if it's worth sharing.
