Donald is STILL there (sigh) & I can no longer be bothered reading about what a lying, hateful, racist, misogynist pig... I won't read about him this year & the destruction he brings daily... I am confused as to why I even consider feeling sorry for him (the most despised man on the planet) but I do sometimes, I believe I NOW know why - because of a little fungi. I'm also reminded of an American artist who expressed displeasure with me and told me 'things were going to change back in Nov. & he would be gone', he is not, she has not sent me any message to say she was wrong. That's o.k. I know she HOPED to be right (me too).
This farmers hat was lost in big beautiful American field somewhere where cows still roam free & happy - lost to the point hopefully one day people might forget what & who represented it'. If I met someone wearing this hat I do not think I'd strike up a conversation with them as curious as I might be since I'm struggling with the fact so many already support him & his ideas as I read about another child dead and always numbers & MONEY - no, it's not a good way to start a new year, at the same time I feel incredibly hopeful many are becoming enlightened with thanks (as usual) to God & her magnificent garden.
I'm ordering Michael Pollens new book today: How to Change your mind. Michael Pollen believes many still think/thought psilocybin mushrooms make people go crazy- when in fact they seem to make people sane. I was blown away when I read that.
I agree, if they DO anything to me they MAKE me see differently, compassionately... for others. ALL others... even those who hurt us - I use to simply get mad, hurt & enraged even, now I see situations for what they are... daily events that I will let consume me or I will not - I choose not. I am NOT responsible for how others think & feel.. all I can do is try to be the best version of Georgia I can & surround myself with like minded people.
If only the prohibition on man was lifted & we could be permitted to explore, heal & live our best lives... eyes & heart wide open for EVERYone helping us all see the beauty that still surrounds us - I have hope because Of Cannabis legalization.

When the person/farmer eventually finds that hat, he will also find a gift left by God & a cow.. and eventually America will be great again.
