'Lost.' Detail. gouache on black - size...? Lost.
Above it an unfinished detail of the painting, oddly enough I have misplaced the original. How? I have no idea, my studio is not that large, neither is my home... stuff just gets misplaced. It's a great opportunity to clean my desk -maybe it will appear. In general I am organized with art - they all end up in binders unless large, they end up in a drawer.
I am immensely enjoying my book of C.S. Lewis books, once again sent from above at the most perfect time.
Wisdom. I find Mr. Lewis a difficult read, perhaps it's his accent. A way of phrasing combined with the epoch, it soothing, like being read a story. A calming, amazing journey The Lions, Witch & Wardrobe. I end up re-reading this book a bit, when tired. His vocabulary is extensive, I usually have to look a definition every few chapters.
All His creations are heart warming, inspiring, hopeful and he can be blunt at times.
His gift from God, shared with many.
He explains God. He makes me think about God. That's always a good thing.
Anyhow... God Bless You & lets hope we get another glorious day to learn what God wants us to learn, tomorrow.
