What a BEAUTIFUL day! It started with me surveying the backyard & making Norms TO Do list.. we know you forget so- it's how we help'. lol & what a list it is- 2 days full -last night we had a wind storm- Im sure damage was done in the city - we had no internet until about 11. our neighbours fence was blown over Norm tells me after checking the mail- I infornmed him we have serious fence damage out back - a few rotten posts (25 years later) & that wind - add it to the list. It's how it is when you have a backyard & we have a big backyard. which I LOVE!
I'm out there watching the birds- returning home some are... planning a garden, checking out how well everyone did this winter and getting my 'outdoor painting station' ready- hee hee. It's a beautiful day in the neighbourhood - dogs all barking hello, kids giggling, we had to go around and get everything that blew around the backyard & put it all into place with only a causality of a flowerpot, it's lovely to be out puttering - distracted by daily news.
I don't think I'll read the paper this weekend... I'm already infuriated with Trump and his NRA antics... I am amazed there have not been assignation attempts on him (perhaps there have) - so many are angry with him, I wouldn't want that many guns around me. - would YOU? Do you?
And what's UP Canada! COME on!? Really - the price of GAS? With oil being as low as it is.. are we stupid or something? & it's NOT just gas.. food, books, anything from the USA we pay MORE - way MORE.. not just on the ticketed price. I think many Canadians are getting fed up, I know almost everyone I speak to tries to buy Canadian - do you blame us! OUR HYDRO is HIGH, OUR GAS, FOOD, art supplies.. HOUSING! OUR GOVERNMENT has the largest alcohol monopoly in the world.. Justin - what's up? For all who admire Canada - It's getting a little costly.
I read if you work a minimum wage job in Toronto everyday- you'll still not be able to afford a 2 bedroom apartment- ever. I feel bad for younger kids.
Better get a good education and as fast as you can- to try to get ahead' IF that's what you want. I don't think everyone achieves this by 'traditional schooling' anymore either.
Kids- stay away from dugs- they might not destroy your brain (they might too) but they might distract you from reaching your fullest potential when you are at your SPONGE mode of learning! Don't waste your life and time sitting around getting HIGH - accomplishing nothing but a new level of video gaming... life passes quicker than you realize.
Time for me to get outside and create how about you? I'm painting some Catcus !
