I looked up & realized I have forgotten to share Kermit & Mrs. Piggy!!!
I say 'looked up' because it hangs above my desk & every time I look into Kermit's face - his smile- I smile back or Mrs Piggy's look of complete contentment.. entertains me.
Ahhh.. when was the last time you felt like this?
I can't remember... no wonder I paint. lol

This painting was simply inspired by that glass rose you see covering Mrs.Piggy's nipple, it was sitting on my desk and I liked to pick it up and hold it - Jerry Kelly - who also made my Laughing Buddha made the rose. Amazing these 'glass masters' and the art they accomplish. The glass talent you see on Instagram is stunning - so many hard working & creative beings.
She is a classy Pig, I don't think she wants the nipple displayed, besides it's nice to leave something to the imagination sometimes...
Jerry has also created the Muppets in Glass, I've been a Kermit fan for as long as I can remember I'm not sure if he has completed Mrs Piggy but I know he's made a few- like Animal! ;D
That green soothing voice we heard every morning as kids, always so loving, kind & positive
(I wonder if we could choose 'Alexa to sound like Kermit- how would that be? Hee Hee) Thank you Jim Henson, it NOW hangs above my desk framed perfectly by Kat- who even made sure she chose a green suede matt -lol, and roses in the frame itself. It's the perfect 'boudoir for these two with a guild gold 'bed frame. Let your imagination fun free - this is about as wild as these two 'did get' in my imagination. Thankfully.
Life is a bed of roses... watch out for the pricks/thorns.
If you find your 'Kermie' hold tight.... you don't find gold green like that every day.
