Just a bear relaxing in the forest. The forest calms me - even when blanketed with snow.
The more time I spend wandering the more inspired I am.
I've been repeatedly reading the opposite is true spending time on social media & I get it. I know for some the only 'social they have is social media, I get that too & am glad it brings some together. Do what makes you happy - Is it making you happy? I read a story about a woman who purged - this meant blocking & eliminating followers.. not those she follows.
Not everyone who 'follows' you are 'admirers' of your work - quite the opposite. For some, social media had just made it easier for them to judge and 'creep' your page. I've asked myself - why, am I following this person? Would I be friends with this person in real life? No - is the answer, occasionally. Im not on social media for the followers.
I know, I have a few nasty followers, I recently saw a creeper comment something negative (instagram sent me the message when it happened) and then watched the coward delete the remark. Did I bother to send them a message - no. Why waste precious time pondering such people? They truly are not worth contemplation, when I could be creating items and thoughts & desires of beauty. Like bears pondering in the forest.
Today I purge! Why? Not to be cruel but for my own health' my own peace of mind. I also read our brains can only handle about 150 people in real life - instead Instagram is deciding who I 'SEE"', not me. Nope. I'd rather have 30 real friends than 3,000,ooo fakes who - really don't give a fuck.
Why be triggered by people who just use social media as another way to mess with your minds. Another excuse to gossip. Delete. Block. As I was with Facebook (when I had several thousand followers & deleted my account) it's been interesting but I understand on the grand scale of this life - it means very little. I'll focus on real life relationships.
I'll focus on God, which I KNOW always makes me feel GOOD.
I do have several I love to see! I want to see my friends succeed in everything. Their posts make me smile, feel happy for them. When we succeed we are happy - when we serve - we are happy. I know what I do to make ME smile & others, I don't 'share' it on Instagram.. Today I SHIFT to focus on all I desire & give thanks for ALL I have - like my beasts - my girls who do not care the slightest about Instagram.
Sure creepers will still come here & judge - so be it. If you are one:
Know I am NOT thinking about you, not wasting one second on gossip or being intentionally nasty. You have the choice to do what ever you want. You are creating YOUR own happiness or misery with how you use your time.
Ready for another day? Another adventure? A day to renew & refresh & play with the dogs.
It is my dogs who prove themselves daily with their unconditional love & make me laugh out loud, everyday. I have learned. I LOVE dogs. Birds too.
By the way? Have you seen 'Physical' on Apple T.V? Yep, I'm hooked. Quite eye opening.
Have a fantastic weekend! Pray B.C. gets a break from the heat wave.
