Jesus & the Aurora Borealis... cards! 5 x 7 gouache on acrylic.
My Jesus card collection is growing! yay. Painting Jesus cards is time spent with Jesus... always a pleasure!
I like wondering what Jesus did in the desert for 40 days.. what God must have shown him. The Aurora Borealis have been magnificent lately & more to come this year, I imagine God putting a heart for Jesus to see, an added element of visible LOVE. I painted 5 and am keeping one, the rest shall go into my Jesus card box & when I get the inclination I send one to whom ever I think needs one. It was a perfect day of rainy day painting. I signed the back of the Cards 'Georgia & Jesus' as it's time spent with and inspired by Jesus! Amen.
I love the rain! Perfect timing as the garden has been planted... everything is vibrant green! All shades. The girls also re content to nap - they don't like the rain, except for Daisy.. she would sit in the pouring rain if we let her. Yesterday I made them cookies that resemble French fries -they loved them. We stopped buying treats a while ago when Daisy started to scratch her gums after every "Milk bone", she would start pawing at her face & we noticed her gums were red, we stopped the Milk Bones - and it stopped. Now they only get HOMEMADE so we know exactly what's in them. They also only get treats when they come right away from being called when outside, Gingers fries' are tiny. That's another bonus.. I make different sizes so Ginger still gets a treat - only smaller & thinner. Tomorrow I'll share the recipe, after I paint it.
I treated myself to a new mouse pad! Vistaprint $10... best $10.oo I've spent in a while. My old mousepad was from when The Pokeman craze was big - that's how old & dirty it is, I can't get it clean anymore so decided it was time for a new one so I tried the photo of Poppy on Gingers babies & it turned out perfect! Now when I run my mouse over it, it's as if Im giving Poppy some telepathic love - lol. Created to create.. come back tomorrow for an easy, tasty dog cookie recipe!
