This Saturday the Santa Clause parade is in town.. tis the season!
I call it the 'Squeezing Season' now, a season/holiday designed around consumerism designed to 'Squeeze' every last penny out of your pocket with commercial bombardment, social pressure and guilt. Yes, we will have a nice Christmas, good food, fine wine & cannabis baked gingerbread cookies & hopefully good company - as for gifts- we don't NEED anything - I'm happy with just setting up a few trinket and enjoying what Christmas might still represent for us.. me. Still, I LOVE drawing all things Christmas - especially reindeer.

I want to add Jim Carey is a very talented cartoonist! Editorial. I love his work, he posts on twitter - dumped FB - I feel the same. Absolute editorial genius - I'm not shocked! He has inspired me to draw a few editorial myself.
Have you read about the RAPE of a young male student @ St. Michaels (all boy) Catholic school? Expelled? BULLSHIT. Fucking LOCKER ROOM bullshit! It has to end - IF I had control I would eliminate the football team all together, forever. I hope they ALL are EXPOSED for being the PACK of dirty ANIMALS they are - Imagine being a parent to find out your son took part in this, laughing and joking as they watch a FELLOW student raped. I don't understand how anyone can do this let alone a group of YOUNG EDUCATED men, at this school that costs thousands to attend to produce 'fine upstanding' gentleman - right. This 'group mentality' is WORSE! So much for their '0' tolerance policy!
0 football MIGHT set a better example. I knew boys when I was younger who went to St. Mikes - they thought they were better than the rest of us back then.. perhaps they still do, clearly they thought they could get away with this sort of behaviour.
I am thrilled with this talented young Canadian artist! She too has inspired me to try to paint on a topic I find incredibly difficult.
