It’s just a phase.. BE here NOW.
Sure keep one eye open and one ear listening… but buying all Costco’s toilet paper will NOT
diminish your worries. It’s just a phase - this too shall pass.
What a lesson we all needed.
What are you teaching?
Are you teaching with your thoughtless posts on social media - “I don’t need to stock up on Lysol - I stocked up on Amo” - I thought, Yep. You are not the 1st person I’d want around in a crisis. Making fun of others deaths and name calling is not a good start. That’s where we are at the start, imo.
Are you still thinking profits over people and planning March break events?
Are you hoarding toilet paper? I understand, all of it. Fear of money not coming in for a few weeks.. is a very real problem - with a house full of kinds who will not be back in school for 3 weeks - I understand hoarding. What a wonderful time to re-introduce ‘basic chores’ to kids.
Keep them busy & teach good habits & help keep “this under control”, it should not be all on MOMs to keep the house clean- seems like everyone is forced to spend time at home- THROW a party- a house cleaning party.
See it as a lesson in perhaps rationing - and explain it’s in fact how MILLIONS of immigrants lived all the time all around the world & why they choose if possible to move to a better circumstance - one with HOPE.
For many March Break would be one of the busiest events of the year & guaranteed money makers.. it’s just not worth it. EVEN if “kids don’t die from it.. chances are they have grandparents. I wonder if business think of how negative it would be to be associated with being the first case in Halliburton from ‘such and such’ a place.. Halliburton is a retirement community in many cases, with many who are vulnerable to the Corona Virus. It’s nothing to sneeze at. It’s just not worth it. Think of other HUMANS first. NOW.
I get hoarding ‘bumwipe’ … (other countries BTW have easily mastered using & washing their hands since the beginning of time.) if it makes you feel safer - what’s the big deal. None.
Have fun. BUTT Those who hoard on medical supplies to profit from other misery - you will reap what you sow. I hope. It’s not being a savvy business person - it’s being a parasite - hoping to prosper off of others misery during a terrible time. What lessons are you learning - & teaching?
WE have enough to carry us through a few weeks IF we are not our usual glutton selves & 'eat it just because it’s there.' I’ll at least wait until I’m truly hungry & WASTE nothing. Who knows when I’ll see a fresh papaya again - it could be weeks or more.
We use too much toilet paper - have for decades- it’s a problem... perhaps someone will think of a better option during all this. Inventions will be created! Cures discovered! Toronto Dr.s are all ready on it making world news! Amen.
From what I understand, for some it comes on very fast & is deadly…
I read we’ve turned a “Terrible Milestone” due to the number of deaths.. that # of which, no one is just sure of the exact numbers.
3 was 2, too many.
Stay home - it’s just a phase.. teach or learn a new hobby - Youtube is germ free. ;)
