About movies.. occasionally I'll see a movie - just to watch a movie- you know as well as I do- you can't always tell what the movie will be like- we don't even agree with netflix "ratings" as some movies with poor ratings we really enjoy - 'Downsizing' would be the most recent example and of course there is the opposite end of the scale - we watched the worst movie. It just made me feel - I WASTED over an hour of my life and infuriated me. The SHIT they do nowadays to amuse/entertain is unbelievably ignorant and seriously MIND wasting/rotting.
This movie: Game Over man. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3317234/ First of all there is the biggest 'Jack Black WANNABE' I've eve seen.. it's so obvious it's kinda sad - they show his penis (seen one seen em all) and then again and again - yep, there's mind stimulating content- Phhhhbt - oh my gosh- I should have left but I was tired so I just sat there- BIG mistake- they proceed to put a small chihuahua in a fish tank - we watch as it swims tirelessly.. they then explode the do in the fish tank. ?? Really? I left.
Clearly the person who wrote directed- is at a loss for anything truly creative when they resort to such petty entertaining ' tactics.
Seriously? WHY DO WE PERMIT GARBAGE like this to grace our minds? Enter our homes? Enter our sacred space called our minds.
What good could possibly come from watching that MOVIE? NONE It disgusted, angered - it did help in the one way: I WILL never watch a movie like this again- it's a complete waste of life and I will NEVER watch anything with that actor in particular again. Will it hurt his career? If making that movie didn't already - I doubt me not watching will have any effects (lol) but if sure HELPS my mind & heart not to willingly subject myself to crap.
Watch Jumanji - It was enjoyable, funny entertaining and Jack Black is in it and he plays his part very well- had us all giggling. We felt GOOD after watching this movie. Where are you spending your money? Time? Had we paid for the crappy movie - I would have actually e mailed iTunes and asked to be credited for watching the crappiest movie ever. Where do you spend your entertainment dollars? Who do you support?
I stand & smoke with Seth. Who needs Spielberg- it's just a movie.
Better yet read a book!
