Into the woods we go.. to lose our mind & find our soul.
The woods are full of mushrooms - I can't walk 10 feet with out seeing some. Some edible - most Im not sure so I won't be nibbling on them.
Occasionally I see one - I've never seen before.
My faithful companions by my side, as excited as I am to be looking at all around us.
There's a little bird close by- if I din't know better I'd think, it was BIRD! Singing his sweet tune to remind me of how loved he was. He was. He sits just outside the studio singing his tiny lungs out... I'm grateful for his greetings & reminder of Bird.
Stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God.

An easy task when in the forest... I get lost, in thought just looking at the magnificent Pine trees surrounding us. Good things the dogs always know the direction home.
What would life be with out dogs? I don't care to ever find out.
