Surrounded by nature - you can't help but be inspired.
I've created some special shelves for a special place.
Inspired by nature , specifically mushrooms. Every single time I have ventured into the forest or even off the driveway, I find fantastic Fungi. Many edible varieties, I found oyster mushrooms the other day but they were small so I'm hoping to go back soon when slightly bigger - if the deer don't beat me to it. I can't wait to have Norm instal these shelves... they look fantastic just sitting on the table no doubts they look great on the wall!
They need a clear coat & drying time first.
Even the small mushroom has a creative purpose - I'll show you when ready, I'm adding the details and shelves.
Have you seen Fantastic fungi on Netflix? Visually - it's beautiful- amazing to watch them grow & explore with spores with time-lapse - incredible. Magic Mushrooms - Psilocybin are also discussed regarding the benefits for mental health. I highly recommend you watch! I enjoyed it so much I'm watching again- it's inspired a few paintings. It left me feeling hopeful for the future of humanity & the planet. Thankful for Paul Stamets (& many more) who have helped educate with his passion for fungi.
I have special place now to pray, ponder, read, sketch & drink mushroom tea.
I've been blogging now for a couple of years about psilocybin - do some research, you'll be amazed with what you learn. How to Change your Mind by Michael Pollan is also a great book to help understand. Mushrooms will change the state of mental health- as long as the government doesn't fuck it up by introducing laws, as it did over 30 years ago in attempts to discourage natural medicine. Lies we were told... at the cost of our health so pharmacies could profit... remind you of the cannabis journey? Yep.
Norm built me & the girls a small screened in 'Japanese inspired TeaHouse' & I love it!
It was inspired by photos I found in a magazine a couple of years ago- it took him a bit to figure it out.. it is stunning, the attention to detail is fantastic - as expected.
Big enough to sit and read & even nap. I sat there last night long after the sun went down - thankful for - everything. I was up and in it to enjoy my morning coffee (with a bit of butter) & NOW I'm out to enjoy an afternoon tea & read.
Thankful for another day to create from the creator.
Amen.
