As I painted, I found myself craving JellyTots'... from back in the day.
I don't indulge in Candy or junk food'.. unless it's homemade goodness - at least then, there is control of ingredients.
I was reading about Candies having different ingredients- depending where around the world they are sold... healthier ingredients in the UK due to laws, compared to the USA where - there are ingredients that should NOT & DO NOT need to be in the candy. Why is it? To stretch the recipe further for PROFIT.
It's out there for everyone to read, NOW it's suggested your junk food is making you sick.. I guess that's why it's called JUNK food. The choice is yours. A consumer shared on IG (at a trip to Costco) a package of cinnamon buns - they he turned over the package (claiming to be a healthy snack) & there were 115 ingredients. WTF?
115 ingredients for cinnamon buns? Read the label. Homemade is the way to go.
I think I'll make some gingerbread cookies - with flour, sugar, baking powder, ginger.. No added crap.
