Cell phones. I do not own one. I won't get one.
I can't when I see how many are obsessed.
Ignoring all around them to stare at a screen.
The second the phone buzzes, tweets, vibrates or rings - you reach!!
I was driving with Norm recently in rush hour & his phone rang- with-out hesitation he reached for it.
I said "are you fucking kidding me? "
Wow, is this the message we want sent to our son- drive & be distracted?
I asked him.. what If was him & Storm was driving? Is it o.k. then?
I AM sick of STUPID people being run by their phones- making it dangerous for ALL others around them- especially driving.
He is not alone, I see it constantly.
I also refuse to sit in a room with someone when they constantly look at their phone.
If my time is not valuable to you- it is to me & I have others things I could be doing - useful even..while you stare at your phone and only give me some of your distracted attention- I'll pass. I've been reading about brain hacking- it will become worse before it gets better.
Parents- lead by fucking example- or who will YOU blame when Your kid dies in a car accident - or is responsible for killing someone else, because they watched YOU all these years on your phone while driving. FACT.
Norm will never reach for his phone while I'm in the car again, that I will promise you.
