Why the long face? 8x8 gouache on water colour. Long faced bear - getting ready to hibernate.
On our recent adventure, I though I found a 'bears tooth' with some bones.. a megladon bear -lol. I shared it on social media an was told it's a deer toe - hooves bone, which to me is rather a cool find. I was relieved to find out it was not a tooth -that would have been a huge bear. It's exciting imagining all creatures in the woods. Many mushrooms to discover this season, I keep finding yellow amanita in all sizes - they are favoured by slugs from what I can see by evidence of holes all over them -and the occasional slug still on them..
