He has risen!
If that's not something to celebrate, I don't know what is!
YeeHaw - I think I'll clean my house to celebrate. Really, and I'll thank God every step of the way. God put me here.
How dare I not, that would be a sin.
Spring weather finally, snow mounds all around....Poppy was running this morning! lol Excited for the dog days of summer.
Daisy scratching her bum on a branch as Arrow chases grackles - Good girl! Ginger waddles around, I can see her starting to get a bit slimmer - that is good. Ginger is a cricket eater, long before it is a totalitarian 'trend'. hee hee
Storm suggested we attend an Easter service Sunday and it was... perfect. The classic look of the church, brick with a bell tower, had me at 'hello. I don't pretend to know all the differences but I do know, what is the same - our Love of our saviour, Jesus.
I turned once inside and saw a beautiful stained glass of Jesus looking down -sunlight shining in and became teary, Storm just shook his head. lol I felt like Jesus was saying: Welcome back. It was an intimate experience. Some were on "zoom", how cool was that? I've never tried zoom, I found it fascinating, and happy they have the option. No excuses not to spend time with Jesus! There was a choir we both commented a couple times since, we enjoyed all the singing. I had a good laugh when two women sitting in front of us, got up - then I did, Storm followed my direction. They were getting up to go make coffee (like my old parish) a bit early, for all when the service is over. When, I realized no one else got up, I sat down, then did Storm. Storm gave me a 'side glance' and I started giggling. Frig! This, is why I don't attend funerals.
Actually, it was Storms look' that made me laugh, we both laughed about it on the drive home, they got us! "Syke!"
We both felt welcomed. That there, is why you should spend time in Gods house. Any house. I don't push 'religion', find what ever makes you want to be a better person but it was, extra joyful to be surrounded by love, for Jesus.
The Bible is life instruction book, Amen. Available to all.. you just have to read it.
It as one of the nicest 'Easter service' I have attended.
I just found out a painting I did, is going to be used as a cover of a documentary! I was overjoyed and know it's going to be successful, not because of my art but I feel 'it was all part of the plan'. It will be successful because of the creator of the Documentary, and 'who' is featured, the journey & The Creator of the topic! It's about... one of God's Miracles.
The sun was amazing, I feel I got a base tan, the dogs and I sat outside, read, walked... I got a call from a sweetheart of a friend and messages on social media from a few - reminding me, I Am loved. THEN- of course, because I expect miracles ... I had my first visitor in my studio. As I have had a few since moving here, God sent a feathered friend to say hello & give me that moment where I hold up my hand and surrender it back to God - along with everything in my life. Knowing God wills for me, (all of us) perfect happiness. Off it flew! Fast & furious.
Blesses by a wild bird on Easter, is better than a chocolate bunny!
We are all miracles of God. All.
Bring on the sunshine! We can't wait. I decided... I'm 'identifying as' a dispel of Jesus!
Praise Jesus! I'll do just that, by painting dogs.
