Happy Winter Solstice
It’s a beautiful day - just enough snow to cover everything but no snow mountains - yet.
Today is the shortest day of the year & the longest night. Dark until about 7:30 a.m. and dark again just after 4 p.m. - I’m thrilled, tomorrow each day gets a little longer! Yay!
The dogs are thrilled too.. I don’t encourage them go go out after dark. Yesterday, they attempted to chase a deer through the woods - they didn’t have a chance. I swear it was one of Santas flying reindeer as it moved so swiftly and flew over branches & snow, the dogs knew to ‘give it up’ shortly after they started.
My girls like to hang out with me in my studio and if not in the studio, Arrow sits outside my window -watching me paint from the outside, lol. She doesn’t want to miss a thing. I love those ears.
Today is also the start to countdown to 2022 - woohoo! 10….
I’m praying already, covid is under control and this pandemic pandemonium we’ve all experienced these past 2 years comes to an end, Please. I don’t think many business can hold out much longer- let alone some humans that’ have been having a difficult time. Me included. Everyone I know has had their moments of difficulty these past few years. Above all the mandate madness dividing humans all around the world will soon be over, it’s been a sad lesson, one I never thought I’d witness in my lifetime. Who knew… a lesson for us all. ONE love is what will keep us going & growing.
With each new day come a new hope & tomorrow the sun will shine - just a little longer.
