It's Valentines day & I LOVE me! LOL I've snuggled with the girls, listened to music, played hide & seek & sent Norm an e mail suggesting what would be great for dinner! With a glass of wine- a craft beer for Norm - cannabis for me & Ice cream for his sweet tooth - I can't wait. 'I' cut my hair (short) - that's ALWAY refreshing!
Yeee Hah - Self love watch out! lol - All kidding aside- we've been together 26 years and have a common LOVE so why not enjoy the evening and acknowledge the love we've had for each other & still do, especially as the parents of our son & doghters' hee hee.
Why not- who needs an excuse for a good meal made with love?
If your single & you LOVE to cook- are'nt you the lucky one tonight!
Sorry these Valentine are a bit late, it was important that I show myself some love today,
I imagined a studio barn - big enough I can have the girls run from one end to the other to chase balls - and work off some of this winter restlessness - I remind them frequently- Spring is not far NOW! It's never too late anyway - that's the thing with Valentines day & I don't agree with is the 'DAY' part. IF you NEED a day to tell someone you love them - well, I guess it's better than not telling them. I know some people struggle with such issues like saying 'I love you' (& meaning it), I get that too - if your single enjoy treating yourself to something a little special tonight - WHY wait for someone 'else' to TREAT?
Use your Valentines anyway - don't forget to tell yourself FIRST. I Love YOU.
Who needs a day to say I love you? Say, text, email it any day you please, PLEASE!
No one knows what tomorrow brings... hopefully a funky new fungi painting.
