This sweet little grosbeak reminds us to 'Love the Lord with all our heart!
Grosbeak sometimes have red marks on their chests, as do the ones in my backyard. There are also several dull reddish ones.. You can tell grosbeak from the large beak, especially on such a tiny bird. There are tiny flecks of gold in the background and the bird is outlined in gold as surrounded by Gods love.
This wee bird was a pleasure to paint - I think I'll paint another.
