Goya was a artist who also painted darker images on his own walls - Like the Devil chowing down on dinner you see to the left. It's what caught my attention about this book and held it for a while. The true bits of real madness.. it was interesting and kept my attention although I already knew about Goya.
The author I felt, became tired near the end and just "sorted it all out" for us the last few pages.
It was an o.k. read, sexual abuse being introduced - was an easy way out - at that point I was getting tired of reading it anyhow... I would not want this painting, I want one I can get lost in a dream for hours, not be lost in a nightmare for hours. Financially as an investment - sure. It had a few intriguing plot twists.
It's got something interesting in it for everyone, it was obvious written by a man, still an enjoyable way to pass time - listening to the birds chirp outside my bedroom window as I finished this book- Spring is in the air- turn your clocks forward!
After much thought, research, sketches - I've started working on a private project at the moment 12 images - paintings with the same theme' but all different! I'm afraid you won't be seeing them until the project is complete-- just little bits here & there.
It is time!
