Campfire reflection
This landscape was inspired by someones post on IG. There is so much beauty in the world & in Canada.. painting it felt like I was sitting by the fire enjoying the peace & calm. I'm grateful for those who continue to share beauty & inspire.
There’s much frustration, anger, confusion around covid & now vaccines & passports. I come up with editorial cartoons daily yet have chosen not to focus, draw or share them. I know people who had to get vaccinated due to caring for others, elderly & children. I know people that must get vaccinated if they want to keep their jobs. If you want to travel, go to a bar, movies, concert (ALL thing NOT advised to do for the time being) you need to be vaccinated & it appears this list shall grow. Many including myself are concerned with side effects, especially regarding the brain. Don’t believe me - look into it yourself. Alberta is now bribing people to get vaccinated (as has the USA) - there’s something seriously wrong when people are being forced, bribed & threatened to get a ‘life saving vaccine’.
To blame the unvaccinated is an excuse.. as is blaming those who are vaccinated some of which are attending concerts, parties, football games and more proving to continue the spread. The vaccinated can still spread covid. The media appears one sided and only adding to the animosity. Did you ask for covid? Did I?
Did you create covid? No, none of us did and now we are being played against each other as if we are to blame.
I worry about the vaccinated more than the unvaccinated. Young people not getting it makes sense to me, especially when it comes to concerns of fertility in the future. I am against vaccinating children - with the same dose a 300lb man would receive. A vaccine not tested on humans due to it being an ‘emergency situation’.. A documentary I watched decades ago 'The marketing of madness' - appears to be more factual with each passing day. Why does everyone suddenly believe this is completely safe? Do you know how many times the FDA removed something that proved harmful after time? look into it - be curious - it's about your life, is it not?
There are side effects, more being discovered & recorded daily along with deaths due to the vaccine. It’s not as rare as many would believe. A woman who admitted to a side effect 2 days after being vaccinated, losing the control of her legs and more, stated 'it was not due to the vaccine BUT brought on by the vaccine' - how is this not the same?
I don’t want to draw editorials because I know many people are already concerned - vaccinated and not vaccinated.
I don’t want to contribute to the fear… justified fear on both sides.
I am not against vaccinations, or medicine - we have much to be thankful for regarding medicine as it has saved many lives, medicine has also taken lives. Forcing anyone to inject something into their body to make yourself feel comfortable is messed up. I am astounded at the speed and lack of conversation and lack of individual questioning. I guess it’s all fear based.
I won’t judge anyone - the vaccinated or un-vaccinated, I won’t make fun of anyone based on fear, or stop being someones friend because of the choice they choose to make. I do feel empathy for those being forced to vaccinate, in time I will probably be forced myself - if we need to go to a hospital for example, I don't think we'll have much of a choice. It’s Ironic that nurses and Dr.s not long ago hailed ‘heroes’ are now treated like criminals because they are protesting & expressing their concerns, around the world.
I have faith in God. By the way- for those that blame God or ask ‘where is God now’— God had nothing to do with this. WE did, WE humans created this situation and it thrived with our travels, consumerism, greed and need to socialize, party, celebrate as we have all now witnessed. God gave us 'free will'. The choice is ours… well, it was ours. Once we lose the choice as to what goes into our bodies - we have lost our basic human right. Forcing vaccines - with passports - or you won’t be welcomed to ‘participate in society’ is a loss that will only breed resentment over time, amongst vaccinated & unvaccinated.
Choice in Texas… 15 year old girls are not forced to wear masks with a raging deadly pandemic - but can be forced to have a child. Holy cow. I am at a loss for words.
If God wants a life to end it will.. no vaccine will help.
So, no editorials for now- I’ll stick to landscapes and imagined paintings & try to continue to encourage & inspire… but this is how I feel. To my friend(s) who stopped being my friends over this choice of mine…
I don’t see it as much of a loss - but, I wish you well, Peace & good health all the same.
