Most difficult mushroom to date - to paint.
I walked in my office this morning, looked at my desk - in the dark because bird is molting ;( & he should not be - I think it's because he's been hanging out with me late nights as I paint and he needs his beauty sleep - so I wait until he's up in the morning - lol & go to bed early so he can go to sleep - the things I do for Bird, anyway - the work on my desk - looked impressive - even in the dark! It's the most difficult mushroom painted yet - beyond excited now that my calendar is almost complete to see it all together.

How about Tims.. yep Goodbye Tim Hortons. A Canadian icon at one time.. daily for decades- "go grab me a Tims" was the morning tagline- NO more - it looks like we are not the only ones who stopped using Tim Hortons after the complaining of pay increases and trying to stiff it's employees NOW they fall from 4th to 50th.. wow: http://www.macleans.ca/news/canada/tim-hortons-reputation-is-tanking-after-a-year-of-stumbles-and-bitter-feuds/
& you know what will happen when Cannabis becomes legalized in this country- People will go where they are treated the best and get the best prices.
Will that be these government run stores? I don't think soooooooo.....
BTW, now that Coffee legally has to claim is it cancerous in California https://www.cnbc.com/2018/03/30/california-judge-rules-that-coffee-requires-cancer-warning.html I guess it can be said :
Cannabis safer than coffee? Right? RISE & Grind!
BIRDS are back.. and making babies! GOOD because bird decline is a serious problem - do you know what kills birds? CATS!!! I love cats - but not cat owners who are careless. Please keep your cats INDOORS or PUT A BELL ON IT!! At least give the birds a fighting chance. http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/cats-the-no-1-killer-of-birds-in-canada-1.3130437 this article already a few years old and the problem only continued to get worse.
If I can train my cats to keep away from a free flying in-house bird - take the time to train your cats or put a bell on it.
I'm sending this to my pal Russ who is also bird crazy like me... lol -it gets him on a mission- he acts! I draw - he makes phone calls and gets attention... better than most.
Now to start my day I'm painting a little girl - a toddler card!! What fun!
