Our oldest pet.. Larry the Gecko needed a portrait, still alive & exploring. Geckos are great pets, little work -lots of love.
Handled properly they are very friendly. Larry's so, old he mostly just sleeps & basks under the heat lamp.. all those bumps were enjoyable to paint. He's been a wonderful family member all these years - it's also been neat to watch him shed & eat his old skin - looking brighter and bolder each time. I think we'll try to raise crickets for him for the winter- the chickens will also enjoy them & apparently it's easy to do. We can keep them in a container in the coop.
I read about human lungs delivered by a drone in Toronto! History in the making. Better than delivering pizza.
Modern technology & medicine can be magnificent!
Captain Kirk (William Shatner) blasted off into space @ 90 - how cool was that?
I'm elated for him & glad he is o.k., I hope he does it again at 100.
Would you go into space if you could? I'm fine here on planet Earth, feet firm in the forest.
I can't even imagine what other incredible event's we will witness in our lifetime.
