I watched the classic movie only to see it was 'Fritz' (not Egor' as I thought his name was) the humped back assistant of the Dr. who tormented Frankenstein until he becomes violent.
Beaten & teased while tied up - when he gets lose he kills his tormentor, go figure.
I'm not overly thrilled with this painting, it didn't turn out as I wanted- I'll do another better... I know why- I was in a grumpy mood. Still, rather than sit & stew- I force myself to become distracted & paint. Even though he is not as I planned in my mind - I felt better after painting him. If only he learned to embrace the flame & see how it is used for good, like burning my medicine daily.
I'm going to give this one away to a Frankenstein fan - interested?

3 to 10 years... closer to 10 would be better. A few women will feel 'safer' at least, not that the damage can ever be undone.
