Searching for my newest book - there it was Finding me from the shelf in isle 3. ;)
From the first paragraph I was intrigued. This book is about child abduction and how it ruins lives- no kidding but it's also from a different perspective.. I was going to wait to read it for April but made the mistake of starting the first page after bringing it home and was hooked - a cold spell this Spring made it easy to stay snuggled or go to bed early rather than watch T.V, to finish it in less than a week.
I really enjoy learning little things about other cultures and places.. for example I learned about eating King cakes and babies & would enjoy trying one. I googled.
I would recommend this book but not for moms with young children- you'll only worry more. It reminded me discussing with Storm when he was little about 'strangers and abduction and I'd get the typical eye roll along with "you're being paranoid'.."
Too many moms know the reality of missing children (at every age).
It must absolutely be one of the worst feelings in the world... I don't know how they go on.
Going to war or watching our children go off to war - and even come home- is another terrible thing to witness - worse to live with, what a difficult read this was:
I have no doubts his MEDICATION played a serious part in his destruction.
Cannabis helps for PTSD!!! Please help educate someone today.
WAR what is it good for = GREED.
I decided to focus on the POSITIVE and paint some cartoons/drawings today in celebration of legalization in Canada - SOON! HOW many days?
I'm still planning/drawing for July 1st! 2018
Amen - it might help end us reading as many stories as the one above with the two brothers.
Back to: Rise & Grind Canada! It's A New Day
New cannabis art next.. ! More Betty - in the garden!
& YOUR FREE EASTER card/craft download! Cannabis & mushroom friendly.
It would also make a sweet little money gift card- for those who give $... I better HOP to it and finish it today! hee hee
Read... it's good for your brain. Even when it makes our hearts a little sad.
Education is key to better, healthier lives.
Oh.. (below) this is mail NOT meant for us - placed in our locked mail box.
How else would I get it.
It happens often and I will share our post office blues - between them & porch pirates - now, there will have to be some new level of guaranteeing your - our mail.
Guaranteeing your medicine. Clearly it's an issue.
We have installed cameras & Norm is designing a locked box where items (smaller can be placed inside) it's not that our stuff is worth $$$ - it's more to deter thieves and avoid aggravation... no need to encourage criminals. I can see more homes being designed with this problem in mind.
To those who take these things- imagine for a moment the free karma that comes with each package. Enjoy that item you took that does not belong to you... Karma one day will correct your deed, indeed.
I'm thankful I don't get my medicine through the mail, it would be a constant source of stress due to past experience. One more reason for individual local dispensaries in every small town.
