It amazes me - people shouting the loudest about 'God given rights to own guns- christians, catholic - church attending, hard working -praise Jesus! Good people.
"It's My God given Right!" How about the 10 commandments?
How about:
YOU SHALL NOT MURDER.
- it is not imbedded in the constitutional rights to own assault style weapons.
A shot gun to protect yourself IF someone tried to enter your home with intent to hurt you (your choice) as well as a hunting rifle- for the days when people needed to actually hunt for food (no longer relevant for most of the population) are the only guns mentioned.
I don't think that would have been the case - if the founding fathers realized the extent of mental health issues, global instability, American internal conflict and students shooting up other students- or perhaps the laws would be much different.
I do understand why some are so fearful- on Pin I've noticed an increase in posts suggesting.. "you don't need guns" the police said...
"Get on the train" the police said.
with an image of people getting on trains leading to concentration camps. Yes, I do understand that fear- especially with a madman running the show and deciding who should stay and who should go. I get it, but it's only getting worse.
About JustinTrudeau & India - after seeing the continued headlines about the Trudeau family and their 'over the top outfits' & family vacation in India - ALL the NEWS this week- it made me think: GOOD, this means there must be No mass shootings, No blown up buildings, No more gay men found murdered, no more ingenious girls missing, No more kids being abused and starved, beaten, sexually abused...
Go ahead- if that's all you got- compared to a president who only days ago talked about his usual hate encouraging, wall building, give teachers guns mentality - a war hungry, sexist pig who NOW expects teachers who do not get paid or appreciated enough as it is to make themselves human shields? WTF? How much does America spend on the military?
With such ernest he claims: We really do have to be better with the background checks.
He talks about the man who was trained all his life but did a poor job- yet the thinks teachers and coaches NOT trained all their life to protect- will have an easier time, if not they will be 'cowards'. & the crowds cheer... yikes.
Yep, that Trudeau! Look at the example he is setting - encouraging peace!
How dare Justin & his lovely family promote peace... What will India think of Canadians?
