With winter on the way.. I wanted a shelf in my bedroom for plants. I'm going Bohemian in the bedroom - and it matches my door mural. It would look sweet just about anywhere.
So, Linda says - great shelf! It will be a shame to see it covered with stuff.
She is correct... & got me thinking. I think I'll make a 'valance shelf' next for the dining room! I even know what I'll paint on it.
I'm going to decorate my entire house this winter with my paintings on canvas and otherwise.
Everyday.. determined not to get depressed during covid (it's easy to do)..
I've been reading about Alcohol abuse increasing & I found myself craving a glass of wine more than usual - so, I'll STOP. No depressed drinking.. a drink while I paint with the tunes on - is a different thing, I also don't have kids to look after - or a job I have to get up for- well tell that to the goats. Please pay attention to your alcohol consumption- no one needs to add to their problems.
It looks like Trumps time of Terror is soon over! YAY!!
Oh & B.C is banning FIREWORKS! No more individual sales. Only professional displays will be permitted in the future - lite a fire cracker & you could get a $1000. fine - YAY!!! Anyone educated enough on the damage caused by them is thrilled... those who still partake are part of the problem. Fireworks cause fires, terrorize dogs, birds and countless other animals. Many children & adults have lost fingers and even more due to fireworks.. I learned long ago how bad they are because of hearing loss alone - don't believe me GOOGLE. So nice to read GOOD news.
Time to get in some goat snuggles before I start todays painting! I am in AWE everyday with this momma goat & her kid. WOW. She never leaves it's side, shows it where to walk- how to jump, pay attention to the dogs. Ginger snuck in and almost got a head butt for getting too close but mom could see, she was happy to see the new baby and only wanted to give it kisses. Me too.. hard not to give kisses to this tiny bundle of fluff weighting about 3 lbs.
