Max's dad is a barber. I don't know about the recipient but the person who ordered it was pleased "This is fucking amazing Georgia!" (a girl after my own heart, lol) I appreciate being appreciated. Who doesn't.
Then, I showed a friend and NOW I'm painting another even with *no guarantee of Christmas mailing (thanks Canada Post) & she wants to know if I'll paint more... my reply: until I don't want to. I can't imagine not wanting to paint dogs, cats, birds animals in general. Since this is a project I can paint & work on my newest canvas (you're gonna love it! If in the Cannabis industry- hee hee) It is how I "see it at the moment" an editorial painting.. I thought I'd share it with you.
If you are interested in ordering a custom Dog painting- the only question I ask is:
What is the dogs Profession?
I will currently accept commissions on this topic & please remind me if you want it cannabis friendly! I'd be thrilled to co-operate & help educate.
I also ask for 3 photos, head front facing, a sitting (on the dogs level) and full body pose- anything... feel free to add any little details - (although the final decisions are mine) Each painting is on Acid Free Illustration board - you can order it framed or unframed + shipping depending on destination. 8 x 11 gouache
I do recommend you frame at some point - if gouache gets wet it will 'blend'
Each painting (unframed) comes wrapped in a plastic sleeve & cardboard envelope.
I can not promise Christmas Delivery due to the strike.
If interested send me an e mail email@example.com and I'll let you know if I am still open for commissions - I have cannabis to paint!
I'm excited - dogs are awesome! My girls are on the list.. I can't decide the professions with the exception of Scruffy who is a boat Captain, so I guess she'll be next.
I hope I can help a few of you make a few others very happy this Christmas.
I would love a painting of my girls... I guess I better get going on that then.
Shout out to my main mentor 'Jesus on this lovely Sunday - as I set up his birthday tree.. hee hee.
Me & my tree blog, we had to get a tree anyhow, our old tree kicked the bucket with the lights and you can't remove them, Norm in frustration picked up another tree, not real but lovely all the same, it also has colored lights something I've not seen in a while on our own tree. The old will go out into the backyard for the birds - a GIFT! Tis truly the giving season.
