Oh My God... I feel like a naive doofus! To think I am one of those who think the police are here to serve & protect - NOT frame & bullshit. Talk about eye opening and heart wrenching - these people put in jail for crimes they did not commit & the killers still at large due to lazy, un professional liars. One gentleman proven innocent & it still took 3 FUCKING years to let him out of jail - what is wrong with this? How has this allowed to happen - still - with proof from these tapes- bullied, exhausted, lied to... in the past I would've spoken with the police as of NOW - I don't think I would- I would ask for a lawyer immediately .
I kept thinking - HOW are Americans letting this happen- then they played an episode about Canadians & the RCMP = PROFESSIONAL liars is how they will be thought of now...setting up those 2 boys imo - shameful. Here's the thing.. I like police 'people' (my experiences anyhow have never been negative) I was actually thinking the other day I hope the police where I'm moving are as nice & helpful as York Region.. I know they are far from perfect- but I can't imagine - no, neither could any of those people - wrongfully accused & sent to jail. I have friends & family in jail past & currently - some- I feel should be in jail for their actions - hopefully remorseful & getting help they need. Others- should never have gone to jail - my friend Todd Stimson - that did years for plants - it changed his life- he still is dealing with issues from stress from that. I've had people tell me "I did not do what they said" & in all honesty - I kinda thought... well yeah -you say that but you are jail.. not anymore - I am no ones judge - I judge people by how they treat me.. and I don't know what to believe some days but I do know we are presumably INNOCENT until proven guilty - not the other way around.
I am grateful to Netflix for the education - & encourage you to watch.
I have learned if the police ever want to bring me in for questioning... sure, wait until I call my lawyer... & make sure you turn ON the confusion tape.
I have packed up my painting.. doodling only for the time being.
