Comfort food time as I look at all the snow... this morning I baked a cake that sounded like nothing I've made before & oh my goodness - it's an immediate new favourite. So good, I decided to share it NOW. I have to tell myself- no more.
I could easily go for another piece, or two maybe even 3.
The recipe is from the Church cookbook, you can't beat church cookbooks -as most are dishes that are well loved comfort food specials, and Canadian to boot -eh! This recipe was so tasty, I'll thank the contributor the next time I'm at church.

My friend who I spoke of a few days ago has passed.
He suffered quite a bit the past few weeks so I was grateful his suffering is over.
