The Chicken sees... well not yet! I can bet, when the chickens see this coop they will be thinking they moved into CluckingHam Palace... The Taj Ma Coop! lol Actually, I've been looking at names and crossing off the list - maybe 'Eden'... cause I'm also looking at a goat.

I told Storm "I'm afraid to even think of a donkey!" lol It's all coming together - God puts each person in my path & I AM GRATEFUL! I walk around here singing "Cluck cluck cluck!" I've got a coop going up!! In my big back yard... Acres for my chickens to esplore with me, I imagine forest walks with the dogs already. Do you know cxhickens talk? I'm learning the lingo now. Bwak bwak! I asked the universe for chickens and the next thing I know I was getting 3 chickens! I'm so excited to meet our girls.
The chickesn will not be eaten... yes we will eat the eggs, use them for baking, etc.
I can see the coop from my kitchen window! Bird has a front seat to the building process and is also excited about the feathered friends arriving (I think).
I visited a book store in Haliburton - I needed a bible (chicken books) - someone took my bible... I thought if I bought myself a new one, I would 'get over it' sooner. I turn to my bible for many reasons - like naming a chicken coop! Why not? Also naming chickens.
I turn to my bible for more reasons that I realized, I was very disappointed when I discovered it gone.
At Masters Book store in Haliburton- when I asked specifically, if she had a Max Lucado study bible - responded "...yes & its FREE for you." "I was waiting for the right person to ask." Silence.
I am not shocked. :) I see God working his miracles EVERY day! I was caught of guard and choked up. I said THANK you and accepted my gift. I love this book store (& my replaced Max Lucado Bible) - it has everything including How to change your mind by Michael Polan (great book) surrounded by God's reassurance - great kids books - it's a calming, charming book store in a perfect tiny town in Canada. I ended up leaving with my Max Lucado Bible & several other books & look forward to my return visit. As I drove home, basking in Gods love I forgave the person who took my bible. Who knew? Not I.
The word of God is comforting, try it. I picked up a new bible also because of the illuminated art, I'm drawing in it as I search for chicken names. 'The chicken sees' from Be Here Now by Ram Dass will be the first painting in the coop - of course it will be decorated.
I'm slightly distracted from painting - pinning chicken toys!
I can't remember being happier...
A friend commented "I'm happier in Haliburton" - I instantly thought- Yes! I'm happier in Haliburton & Now 'm getting chickens!! I'm painting art for the coop & sigh or tow - come back for mor coop up dates. Shout out to Norman! (& Storm) for their support & help from everything from research to building to tolerating my constant string of coop name - texts.

You know.. I don't know what to advise you or anyone for that matter, it's such distressing times. I only know that my relationship with Jesus is what brings me peace& keeps it together (for me)... & chickens soon appear & more.
I thank the Lord every day - as soon as my eyes open.
