Dear St. Nick! Only the best baked goodies for you.
Baking edibles has got me in the garland & gingerbread spirit, in part I know because I'm sleeping better with my Cannabis Carrot cake with & other infused goodies. It's the baking season & there going to be more medicated product this Christmas & less alcohol consumption, I hope.
This alcohol thing - York region is going to start shaming drunk drivers.. - I'd rather they shame them & hopefully get them to think about drinking & driving than be looking at an obituary photo. We don't want to say anything for fear of hurt feelings, shame or even losing our friends and family - but drunk driving is a topic that can't be neglected... when will you address it? AFTER they killed an innocent family out christmas shopping? After they lose their life, after it's too late to address the issue? 'Don't be dramatic some of you are thinking' - you would not think that if you lost a loved one due to an impaired drunk, and for those I care about - you'll lose your license, your job & possibly your family & go to jail & pay mentally, physically & of course $$$ simply because you can't refrain from a few glasses of alcohol. Please don't, it's not worth it. I'll be really curious to watch & see if this works. No one wants to see their drunk mug shot on line - or will want their bosses for one to find out- OR insurance companies!! * DON't Drive impaired & this is as soon as you are charged you photo will be shared, not after court.
Should drunks go to jail? Yes, IF it keeps them off the roads & forces them to THINK about their actions, if even for a short period (a month) and if they did not kill someone intentionally - from choices they make - like consuming alcohol... then yes, go to jail.
When we know better aren't we to behave better? Isn't that the plan?
There nothing sadder to read or hear of another family killed due to a drunk driver.
I don't want any lives ruined- not the victims - or the drivers because that is what happens- from choice we make. Why when we KNOW how bad it is do we continue to do it?
This was an exercise in between paintings - a new canvas is on the easel & I'm loving it, it's taking me a while- more detail but it amuses me immensely - it's a portrait of some of the major players in the cannabis industry imo ;) Also a few Christmas gifts I can't pre show.
Be careful if you are making and trying edibles for the first time- they can effect you differently & what ever you do - don't drive if you feel impaired - on anything, anytime.
About to get back at my painting after my medicated nap... I hope all are having stress free pre holiday decoration days.
