a book a month! My 3rd was refreshing' .. the water cold.
There appears to be a pattern in my life- struggling with drawing about missing women - because when you research it- it's really fucking sad. Women- have been murdered since the beginning of time and still are - out of convenience. Tired of your wife- per she's tired of you- heck murder is much cheaper than divorce - if you don't get caught.
& there are the countless times in history when a man "snaps". Women snap too- not as often... or as violently.
Oh I KNOW, I've said things to Norm that probably have had him drifting into an imagined land of no- no. I just read 67% of men actually have thought about murder - at some point, at some point we all have someone who has pissed us off to the point of wanting them dead. Hmmmm.. have I ever - yes, only for a brief moment and it's usually 'I wish he was dead'- as I have when thinking about men like Paul Bernardo... any human that murders a child.
I've never sat around planning the steps.
This book caught me off guard, and I am reminded to draw once again for women. :(
It was another book filled with twists and turns - I actually found myself illustrating it a bit
thinking about the water.
I do recommend this book, it twists right to the last page.. just like the river.
Mushrooms next.. I did not want to rush it.

A Unicorn! ha ha ha - I am not fond of unicorns! This unicorn craze- I don't get it as much as I do the mermaid. Horse craze yep.. but unicorns? A horse with a horn.
I have a head cold, just started.. but rather than sloth around I still wanted to paint but with a headache - it's bit more of a chore. A blank sheet sat before me and then this unicorn appeared so I just kept going. I find it rather amusing and of course I ended the painting by having my Unicorn exclaim "Fuck Yes!"
If your going to Believe in Unicorns then OWN it! Right?
It's back to bed for me- its only 9.a.m. this will be my day.
I have a new painting on my desk - I enjoyed painting Jesus in the garden so I am doing it again.
Some might notice, I've been quiet on what's happening with cannabis in Canada - we are reading it might not be July 1st, so what - it will be soon enough after - STOP feeding into the hype, there's no stopping the legalization train now! Promises have been made more importantly (sadly) money is being invested. I'm not about to contribute to any fear mongering with saying 'it might not happen'- because IT will... as for growing - that too is a HUMAN right. Choice.
I am paying attention, reading of all the mergers' - some I've been disappointed, some not shocked at all, some I see & know it is only about money... It makes me feel drained for lack of a better word... no wonder I'm painting Jesus in the garden.
I have questions - I'm sure many do, stuff that runs around my mind about these 'mega giant grows' especially in places like Arizona & California, New Mexico, is anyone asking 'Where will they get their water for all theses giant cannabis grows? I've been to California- it was DRY, Hmmm IS anyone aware of Cape Town Africa? & what is happening RIGHT NOW?! How will they water these plants- as a Canadian- It DOES worry me.
It should worry you... your children & your childrens children will not see cannabis as important as WATER. It does not take a genius or scientist to figure this out- read & educate yourself.
I have some shatter' Storm provided - it is pretty- it looks like tiny golden diamonds- I'll think of it as Unicorn dust ;) I need my own 'dabbing Rig' I guess I'll search online today. It's helping me get though this cold a little easier - especially with the headache. I'm thankful for natures medicine provided by my own son- as the Unicorn would say:
Shatter is a type of cannabis concentrate, shatter specifically refers to a texture of concentrate that breaks and shatters like glass, rather than pulling like taffy. It is created by extracting the cannabinoids, terpenes, and other chemical compounds found in the cannabis plant usually from dried cannabis.

Give thanks today for something REALLY important- Water, with every sip- think:
By the light of the moon.
Bear is alone again.
I used to think that the worst thing in life was to end up alone.
It's not. The worst thing in life is to end up with people who make you feel alone.
It is far better to be alone, than to be in bad company.
God writes the Gospel not in the Bible alone, but also on trees,
and in the flowers and clouds and stars.
The USA is experiencing a drought, California the worst hit & I can not imagine it will improve any this summer... Do you know how many WATER PARKS California has? lol Is it just me? Is it not common sense- to not WASTE WATER when you don't have it to waste to begin with? Water.. if some have it their way - we will have to pay for every drop we drink and use.
Moreover, under NAFTA, Canada is also precluded from denying US investors and service providers the same access to Canadian water it allows Canadian companies, communities, and residents.
The UN reports that demand for water will increase by 55% over the next 15 years.
By that time, global water resources will meet only 60% of the world’s demand.
This is a recipe for disaster.
The water crisis could affect as many as 7 billion people by 2075.
Africa, India, the Middle East, and Australia are in crisis but so are “water rich” countries.
In China, since 1990, over half the rivers have disappeared.
In Brazil, there is terrible drought in Sao Paulo due to the destruction of the Amazon and the disruption of the mighty “flying rivers” that carry massive volumes of water vapours released by the rainforest on air currents to the South.
Parts of North America are also in crisis, including many US states. The Ogallala aquifer is being depleted. A major international study on groundwater mining says that the Great Lakes could actually disappear in 80 years.
If you think this impossible, consider the once mighty Aral Sea, the fourth largest lake in the world, now all but gone from over- extraction.
With LOTs of LOVE -as I drink my glass of water. Thank God.
Luckily, I DID not look at one photo of Trump - thankfully I was able to create this from my imagination, reading a current article in the Globe and noticed they don't call him President Trump... 'Mr. Trump. I made his hands too big.. next time.
New Bear Tomorrow.
