Feed the Kitty...
Last night while in bed the kitten started to suckle at Arrow - the look on Arrows face made me laugh out loud - 'is this happening?' Immediately I though of Mark Anthony in Feed the Kitty, a Warner bothers cartoon classic - every time I watch it I smile, for decades now. Arrow doesn't seem to mind at all, she's getting use to it as the kitten does it at least once a day. Clearly just for comfort as he's not getting anything. I watch classic cartoons for comfort. I've always wanted a dog & cat to have a relationship like this, now I do - dreams come true! LOVE.
Peanut absolutely loves Arrow. Peanut follows Arrow in and out the dog door and they snuggle together - always.
Arrow is Mark Anthony when it comes to this kitty. Since I watch classic cartoons all the time, so do my pets (snuggle buddies) therefore imagining Arrow thinking about 'Feed the Kitty' was amusing. If you have not watched it, I suggest you do... it's difficult to resist a smile. The genius of Chuck Jones, making millions smile for decades.
We're all thrilled with this new addition who already believes he is just another dog, part of the pack.
Love is a purrrrring kitty. When not sleeping with Arrow - he was found sleeping in the bluejay Peanut bowl - hence the name. Love comes in all shapes. I love my furry family. Inspired by love - I love to paint & now I have my memory hanging in my studio. Do what you love & you will feel love.
I think I'll have fun the next few weeks introducing some classic cartoons - hopefully, I'll inspire some to watch or simply bring back fond memories for all of us who did grow up watching bugs bunny & friends.
